Do you need to book an appointment?

Yes, at Kavelle Couture we are strictly by appointment only. You can book your appointment by calling us or emailing us via our booking enquiry form. Feel free to contact us as we may have a cancellation or space on the day.

What are your opening times?

Our opening times are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday between 10am-5pm.

What is your price range?

Our main wedding dress collections range between £1495-£3995 and we also carry a couple of designers like Galia Lahav and YSA Makino which start from £3995.

Do you charge for appointments?

We do not charge you to make an appointment although we may have a small fee for certain designer days and this will be specified.

How long do appointments last?

We allow one hour for trying on wedding dresses. It may be a bit more flexible on a week day as our Saturdays are very busy.

How many guests can I bring with me?

Most brides find that it is quite helpful to bring a friend or family member so we do not have a limit although we can comfortably seat around 4/5 guests per appointment.

What size dresses do you stock?

Most of our stock dresses range between a UK size 8-14, although we do carry a selection of smaller and larger wedding dresses between 4-6 and 16-24.

Is everything on the website available in store?

Most of our wedding dresses on our website are available although there may be a couple which may have recently been sold, discontinued or possibly out for a photoshoot. If there is a particular wedding dress that you are interested in viewing please contact us before coming to see it in store.

How far in advance should I order my wedding dress?

Most wedding dresses take approximately 6 months to order in. We would recommend to start your search around 12-16 Months in advance of your wedding. This will allow you enough time to search for the perfect dress along with allowing enough time for us to carry out your fittings and alterations. If you’re working towards a date which is much closer than this don’t panic as some dresses can be ordered on a rush delivery and we also sell a range of sample wedding dresses off the peg.

Do you offer an alteration service?

Yes, if you have ordered your wedding gown from our boutique, our in house designer or alterations specialist will be happy to do all of your fittings in store.

Are alterations included in the price of the dress?

With our made to measure wedding gowns by Kavelle Couture all of the alterations are included in the price. With other designers, the wedding dress is ordered in a standard size closest to your measurements and then any alterations that are needed are charged accordingly. The cost varies depending on what’s required.

Do you offer a dry cleaning service?

We do not offer a dry cleaning service although we do have 2 local drycleaners who specialise in dry cleaning wedding dresses. You will also receive a 20% discount when you provide them with a copy of one of your receipts.

What are your payment terms?

We accept at least 50% of the deposit on the order of your wedding dress and the balance can be paid on or before your 1st fitting. We accept all the major credit cards including American Express, Visa, Mastercard, Google pay, Cash and Bank Transfer.
